Courtney Moore
Owner & Licensed Massage Therapist

Courtney is the owner of Rivers Edge Therapeutic Arts here in Hurt, Virginia. She graduated from Miller-Motte Technical College in 2015 and is certified in medical massage therapy, specializing in deep tissue massage. Her additional training includes lymphatic drainage, cupping, prenatal massage, and reflexology.

Courtney tailors each session to her clients’ individual needs, whether they’re seeking relief from muscle tension, support for everyday aches, or time to relax. Her goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming space where every client feels heard and cared for.

Outside of her practice, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. As a mother and small business owner, she understands the importance of making time for yourself and is grateful to help her community do just that.

Samantha Burton

Licensed Massage Therapist

Samantha graduated from Miller-Motte Technical College in 2015. She specializes in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, reflexology, cupping, gua sha, and craniosacral techniques. She has a strong interest in ancient and Eastern medicine and hopes to continue her education in holistic modalities.

Samantha finds helping others deeply rewarding and is dedicated to tailoring every session to her clients’ individual needs. She takes a thoughtful, personalized approach to help each client feel comfortable and supported throughout their massage.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her two children, singing, listening to music, reading, trying different foods, and being outdoors.

Bailey Trent

Licensed Esthetician

Bailey has four years of experience and graduated in 2022 from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC, home to one of the top-ranked beauty programs in the state.She specializes in customized, results-focused skincare and loves helping clients address concerns like acne, congestion, hyper pigmentation, dryness, sensitivity, and signs of aging.

Bailey is also passionate about client education and creating personalized home-care routines to help you achieve healthy, beautiful skin and long-term results.

Amanda Moorman

Full Body Wax Technician / licensed Cosmetologist

Amanda became a licensed cosmetologist in May 2019 during her senior year of high school, completing her training at Pittsylvania Career and Technical Center. She began her professional career in 2020 and expanded her services to include full body waxing in 2023. She now welcomes clients at Rivers Edge Therapeutic Arts, offering hair removal services from head to toe.

Meticulous in her work, Amanda is dedicated to providing a professional, hygienic, and comfortable experience. Whether you enjoy friendly conversation or prefer a quiet appointment, she wants you to feel at ease and cared for throughout your visit.
